Slotted Ball bearing Disc Spring

Slotted Ball bearing Disc springs are used because slotted elements increase deflection and reduce the spring load.  The inclusion of slots on either the inner or outer diameter creates a lever that works on the un-slotted portion of the spring.   Slotted Ball bearing Disc springs are made in spring steel.

Benefits of slotted disc springs include:
• Accommodates large deflections
• Generates very small loads
• Accommodates the build-up of tolerances within assembly
• Achieves quiet-run bearing assembly
• Eliminates thermal movements
