Ball bearing Disc Spring

Ball Bearing Disc Springs are designed for preloading springs used with radial Ball Bearings. Ball bearing disc springs help to maintain positioning accuracy of the bearing with no endplay. They also minimize vibration and shaft deflection. Proper preloading will increase bearing rigidity and eliminate excessive running noise. Ball bearing Disc springs are used for other general applications as their relatively low forces act as light duty linkages or mechanisms.

Advantages of Ball bearing Disc Springs:
    • Significant increase or decrease in applied force even with small variation in deflection
    • Very low force characteristics with very large deflection range
    • Elimination of noise and play in ball bearings
    • Round shape ensures equal distribution of load around the bearing
    • Multiplication of force by stacking of two or more in parallel
    • Backlash compensation and regressive curves help reduce preload variations changes
